(Unit Bug) (Purchase menu wont open) (8.4.1)

As far as I can gather, this bug has been triggering whenever I try to upgrade my valentine or matilda tanks to a different model. The menu closes itself when opening the upgrade menu, and the only way to fix this is to close the game and hope that luck is on your side and this time the bug won't trigger. This has been happening since the DLC released, but was not nearly as prominent as it is now (currently at Voronezh)

Are you playing PC or Mac? Also, does this happen for you randomly, or more when you play a long time, maybe several scns in a row, or reload often?

Or, to turn it around, is it usually ok when you exit, then relaunch?

Pc running from Steam. I do not reload my turns, and I try to do a scenario a day. The bug like I said is very hard to pinpoint of what exactly triggers it, but from my testing so far it only seems to flare up with lend-lease tanks. regular Soviet equipment is safe for the most part. As far as I can tell it's completely random, but the valentine tank seems to trigger the bug the most often. I will try and see if the bug keeps triggering during my play time today. Currently at 1st Rhzev offensive

Same happening to me, but I have to admit that I wasn't playing much since the update. (PC/Steam)

It was kinda random. Both times I've started the Endsieg campaign from scratch (after a fresh game restart) and one time it worked, the other time it didn't. No particular unit chosen. One time the Tiger, the other the StuG. The whole purchase screen was then unavailable to me. A scen "restart" worked to solve the issue in that case.

Still happens - rather randomly - at deployment stage in OoB v8.5.6!
