Something happened to the game since the push Red Star announcement

Hi, I’m on a MacBook Pro I opened the Red Steel announcement and on-screen graphics (in all other DLCs) now twice as large (loading bar, General’s images etc etc), how do I get them back to where they were (my screen resolution had not changed from the highest setting).
Also I’m playing Red Star and the advancement tree (or whatever its called) does not seem to remember what I have chosen previously: so say I had 5 points and acquired the Tank School then won another scenario and got awarded another 5 the total top left says ‘10’ not ‘5’ and the Tank School is not highlighted from the previous turn’s choice. It did not do this before I opened the messages from Slytherin.
Can anyone help please?

Hi,

The resolution is an issue we're working on. Previously, the game didn't really support greater than HD resolutions, so the small UI you had was actually somewhat of a bug. However, enough people have said that they prefer it that way that we're looking into ways to allow you to have that small UI again.

For the specializations, a screen shot AND a campaign save game demonstrating the issue would be most helpful

Hope we can get the little graphics back but its still a superb game.
I've never saved a played game so was about to do it this morning when the development tree started to behave by saving previous purchases.
I'll see what happens on the next scenario.

Just to add a quick commentary, I'm also playing this on a Mac, and the game crashes as never before. Could you guys check mac OS compatibility , please?
