Your truly pupil!
It is a really great game. I spent a year going back and forth on whether to buy it and when I did it became one of my all time favorite games (top 2). The battles can get quite immersive and suck you in. As abstract as some of the play might seem I find it cinematic and always catch myself imagining the individual fights and maneuvers as if the game displayed every dust and blood splattered detail. There's a ton of high drama to be found if you just let it happen, and man, waiting for the outcome of the enemy's turn can be nail biting at times.
QBs (I really mean Custom Battles) can get quite addicting, for a while I was playing two per day. I'd go through phases jumping to specific eras. You'll probably develop some favorites after a while. Right now mine are Diadochi match ups, Assyrians vs Phoenicians or others, Alexander vs Indians, and Viking vs Northern European type armies.
Thanks!vakarr wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 10:05 pm I have updated my Cavalry video, it is now in two parts. The first part is here: https://youtu.be/xs0cPxbLnoA
Thank you very much for this.vakarr wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 2:31 am I have created some instructional videos for new and old players here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... gb4PStcRts My latest one is about Field of Glory Cavalry, but that isn't quite finished yet. There is one about Zones of Control, which have a very significant effect on the game, and another about terrain.
