Leningrad electricians fried a battalion of Germans by putting 2000 volts in the ground. Step stress in the defense of Leningrad :D
Immediately 500 Germans were electrocuted, they fell and died. The survivors thought the Russians were using a new super-weapon against them.
One of these electric barriers was equipped near Gatchina in 1941. The experts were digging the trench for the cables, removed the sod and laid under the exposed conductor on the rubber bands. The turf has noticeably collapsed in places where electric barriers are laid. To expose the maximum killing voltage, captured German soldiers were used - their shoes were studied.
When the advanced German units got into the band of step stress, they began to fall from their feet. This caused a strong panic in the ranks of the enemy.

In the area of the village of Telezi, 15 kilometers from Gatchina, a team of five electricians installed an electric fence 5 kilometers long, consisting of struts driven into the wet ground, connected by an underground electric cable. Through a step-down transformer, they let the current directly from the power line and created a trap for the step voltage.
In the early August morning of 1941, a battalion of German infantry stormed the village. They walked on the wet morning soil and when they reached the zone of destruction, our turned on the switch, turning on 2000 volts at once...

I tried to patch the original Panzer Corps.exe in 4gb: the game crashes at the end of the 1st turn of the Russians. When I say crash = back to the PC office. I uninstalled / reinstalled the game, I restarted the campaign by saving at the end of each scenario, I launched the game normally, by patching the 3 exe of the patch 0.41 in 4gb, I created a shortcut desktop Panzer Corps Steam with /nocache (already done with the Pazific mod of DMP), always the same.

Hello Bruno,

the error CRC check failed, means that either a file is defective or the reinstallation was not carried out properly.
There may be old entries from a previous installation in the Windows registry. To check that you have to do the following

1. Open the "Run" window and type "regedit" and press OK. This should open the registration window.
2. After the registration window appears, navigate to

for a 32-bit system "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Slitherine"
or to
for a 64-bit system "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Wow6432Node \ Slitherine"

3. In the Slitherine folder there should be a PanzerCorps folder with a separate subfolder for each DLC or expansion pack. Search for duplicate or old entries here.

Important: do not publish any registry entries here in the forum, since the entries show your installation serial keys.

Panzer Corps Gold was given to me by a friend. An hour ago, my wife gave me Panzer Corps Gold on GamesPlanet. Installing the game with Steam. The problem is here: when I replace the Panzer Corps.exe by the one of your mod 0.41, I lose the additional campaigns (Great Campaign 1939, etc, Afrika Corps, Soviet Corps and Allied Corps). Moreover, always CRC check failed. So it's a problem installing your mod, there's something or a step that I didn't respect or that I didn't understand. However, I installed the mod 0.38 full in the JSGME mod folder, then I copy/paste the folders of the following mods (0.39, 0.40 and 0.41) into the mod 0.38. It asks me to replace the files (yes). Only now I install the mod with JSGME. Then I copy the Panzer Corps Steam.exe, Panzer Corps.exe and Scenario Editor.exe from mod 0.41 into the game directory. Do you have an explanation?

Why do you replace the files.exe in the game directory ? JSGME does it for you.

The Meillerwagen (English: Meiller vehicle) was a German World War II trailer used to transport a V-2 rocket from the 'transloading point' of the Technical Troop Area to the launching point, to erect the missile on the Brennstand (English: firing stand), and to act as the service gantry for fuelling and launch preparation.

Why do you replace the files.exe in the game directory ? JSGME does it for you.

If I understand well, and this may be my mistake, when I put the mod (for example) 0.41, I must also put the 3 exe with and JSGME replaces the exe. Me, I remove them, I move them and I copy/paste them once the mod mounted with JSGME. Ok, I'll try your solution. Thanks for your help and advice.

ERROR FOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I found out that the added graphic is missing in the Barbarossa scenario. If the Soviet AI want to move this unit the game will crash! just put this unit graphic in the Panzer Corps/Graphics/Units folder. It will also be in the next update.

Hello PHCAS and AKRebel. It's French again, yes again. I have an installation problem with the different Updates and small additional files. I explain:
1) I installed the update 0.38 full (with JSGME) without any problem.
2) I installed the update 0.39 (with JSGME) without any problem.
3) I installed update 0.40 (with JSGME) without any problem.
This is where the problem comes :
Should I install updates 0.40(a) and 0.40(b) (with JSGME?) or update 0.41 solves the problem?
Should we install the 2 Panzer Corps.rar files (with JSGME?) or update 0.41 solves the problem?
I'm lost. Thank you for your precious help.

Good morning.
One more problem. With the PAK-Update installation v0.038 full.
I put the update in the MODS folder (created by JSGME). I activate the mod. Panzer Corps.exe and Scenario Editor are replaced by those included in the v0.038 update and Panzer Corps Steam.exe is created in the game directory. Problem (see attached picture): I don't have access to the additional campaigns anymore!!! Does the Panzer Corps.exe in update v0.038 work for a game launched by Steam? Before doing this, I saved the original Panzer Corps.exe. When I put it back in the game and disable update v0.038, I still don't have access to additional campaigns. To find them again, I have to reinstall the game.

You make changes in the game directory BEFORE disabling the mod :?:
Before making any changes, you SHOULD disable the mod :!: Then you can always do changes in the mod (or game) directory.

PS: maybe there are other techniques but I always proceed in this way :idea:

Here are my 2 cases after a clean installation of the game:
1) I put the PAK-Update v0.038 full (with the Panzer Corps Steam.exe, the Panzer Corps.exe and the Scenario Editor.exe) in the MODS folder (created by JSGME) and I install the mod. In this case, I don't have access to the additional campaigns anymore.
2) I remove the 3 exe of the PAK-Update v0.038, I put the Panzer Corps folder in the MODS folder and I install the mod. Then, I copy/paste the 3 exe in the game directory. In this case too, I don't have access to the additional campaigns.
What did the "retard" not understand or what did the "retard" do wrong?

Steam. In the database (regedit), there is no GOG or Slitherine entry. 2) Yes, i overwrite the original exe.
