Questions about the Editor

Hi guys, now that we have the final release I will ask some questions about the Editor and custom scenarios.
Editor
1- How can I set particular camos for the units or even players?. Everytime I try to get the drop the list I got an empty choice
2- The "Show Statistics" feature does not work. Everytime I get 0 values for units and VH.
3- What is "Folder Tools"?. I click there but nothing happens.
Custom Scenarios
1- How we play them?. So far I only know throught the test button in the editor
2- Can we create campaigns already?

Hopefully this is as good a place to ask this as anywhere else another question about the editor.

I managed to make a 4 player scenario using a random map gen to quickly make it since it just for testing functions etc. I have set date set players 2 humans vs 2 ai .. I have set how many points trait you can allocate to your general prestiege per turn etc ..

I am able to go into the game and under new game scenarios it shows up as a 'custom scenario'

I have play tested and I can start game allocate my trait points and name myself. I can then end turn and do the same for player 3 (makes it hot seat game ) Then I can as player 1 have my turn player 2 is ai has its turn player 3 human can have its turn player 4 ai no problems... here.

I have done experiment with looking into the multiplayer fold copy the 2 scenario files there but I dont have a .lua? file and the scenario doesnt show up under multiplayer.

I copied all 3 files from another multiplayer scenario renamed them even open 1 the files to rename inside the file where it had a different scenario name to match the new name I had created ... even this newly named but identical to another multiplayer scenario didnt show up in multiplayer.

I hope they implement workshop on steam soon. Or a ingame upload like in the old game.

A lot of dev attention is currently on continue to improve the base game and address various crash reports and bugs.

In time, hopefully short time, we'll get some UI support for non-base campaigns, custom scenarios, and other custom content to show up in game. Right now, all I can ask is for your patience, it's being worked on. =)

Yep, no problem with that. I assumed they must be very busy fine-tuning the game after the release.
Lets hope the editor get some love soon.

MP maps - create new Folder put everything in it. MAP, Image, Lua, Briefing files

Owi - I have tried that. Doesn't work. My Games doesn't have a Panzer Corps folder in it on my root drive - I have created one manually, but still doesn't find the scenario. Looking for help with this - driving me nuts.

A thought - Owi is your game running from Steam? Maybe you didn't buy it on Steam and perhaps this is the reason your multiplayer is working but others cant load any files?
PC2 programmers - give us an idea here of what is going wrong. If it is impossible at the moment to build a multiplayer scenario via a Steam version of the game then please say so and I'll stop wasting my time trying to get it to work!

Are you sure about that? Note, depending on how the account structure looks in your OS the actual location may differ, e.g., my save files are in the My Games\Panzer Corps 2\Saves folder, under Users\XXX\Documents, where XXX is my Windows account. So if you're using Steam the actual location is likely to be C:\Users\XXX\Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps 2. The actual game files are in the Steam folder, though.

I am using the Slitherine purchase, but also have the Steam version.
The scenarios I have tweaked, also work per the Steam version.
Both versions use the same save folders located (win 10) Documents/My Games/Panzer Corps 2/Multiplayer or Scenarios

Odd. I have no folder created inside documents/my games - instead they all sit inside the scenarios folder a few directories into the steam installation.

Might this be because my steam installation sits on a separate drive?

As follow up I cant see where on earth my installation is saving anything. I see no save game files, and I've just loaded "crete" and done a save to try and work it out. What is the file type of a save file - is it .sav or something similar?

It's .sav, yes. Have you tried just running a "Panzer Corps" search on your OS drive to find the directory?

OK - sorry to clutter this thread up, but I've found the folder. For some reason it has been shifted inside my local onedrive folder. I have no idea why - but in case anyone else struggles to find the my games folder where saves and scenarios sit then try looking in onedrive….
