Wycombe 3: 2 Shooty foot, 1 armoured impact foot
actually 2 of each - for some reason Andy Kitcher is listed as High Wycombe rather than Wycombe Warband (which might confuse a silly person, or more importantly the draw software)
He was going to take shooty foot as well.

and why do you assume the Dom Rom are impact foot, rather than a manou..... hold on, its Richard Collins, he doesnt do manouvere :)

So what are YOU going to use for an excuse with no dust storm in these rules?

I don't think round bases would be a problem, if its important, or anybody is confused as to which BG it is with I am sure they will ask. I put mine on square bases so I don't forget which unit they are with.

Hammy - re your 'Personally I just wish I could play FoG and FoW at the same time' plea, why can't the organisers set you up with a FoG table back to back with a FoW table and just say that you only get half the time to make your moves in each game? Added bonus is that you will get more dice throws so the luck will have more chace to average out. Just a thought. You could change the IWF constitution to make this be the perk of being President.

A nice idea but I am not sure my opponents would be too keen. One of the nice things about FoG is that you really need to be involved the whole of the time and to be honest to a large extent the same can be said of FoW as well.

At least by avoiding the big singles comps I can keep my FoG tournament win percentage high ;)

Hi guys and gals.

Well I'm eagerly waiting to see which of the bottom 2 spots I filled!

My realistic hope was to come away from the tournament with a win which I finally managed in my 4th game against the Swiss.

I like the format of the tournament and at least after a few games I played people nearer my level on the bottom tables.

Can I thank the organisers, my opponents across the battlefield, and everyone who took time out to say hi for a great weekend. I may not have always looked like I was enjoying myself but lack of sleep (snoring room-mate) and facing the harsh reality of losing games may have been telling.

I look forward to seeing you all again at Britcon.

No problem at all - it was still a very enjoyable game as were all my games. My first outing at 25mm using some of the new plastic figures. The loss of my army in the last game against Peter Cross was quite amusing. A 12 base BG of pike was disrupted then fragmented by 6 base javelinmen LF BG despite being led by an IC, then routed when hit by elephants. Poo :D

Ouch!

Assuming you were in a 4 deep formation I make that:

1/8 to get 3 hits
1/6 to roll the 4 needed to disrupt
1/8 for another 3 hits
10/36 to fail the next CT
15/36 to break when charged.

I make that 3317 to 1 against :O Good show Richard.
