Constant crashes and freezes

Greetings,

I have no idea what is up with the game, I get so many crashes and freezes on various occasions. Often, loading a save will result in minutes of loading, the game not reacting anymore in the task manager. On random moving and shooting actions, the game freezes and I have to close it in task manager. I have rarely seen a game with this many crashes! Can't be the pc, too, as the game runs nice on high settings when it doesn't crash...

I tried lowering the shadows in addition to some other settings, the shadows especially seem to have done the trick! Thx!

as already posted...
tried it with different "low to max" graphic settings, checked graphic driver (still up to date), re-installed game, checked dxdiag:

still random freezes, still unplayable, still waiting for patch.

This needs to be fixed, not by workarounds!

The problem did not only persist, but even increased with the change from version 1.0.7 to 1.0.9.
Online-gaming is no longer possible; almost every game crashes after one or to moves.
A new patch is badly needed!

Could you please name some specific games (opponent and map) where you are experiencing these crashes? We'll try to repro on our end.
