ALL the modifiers that are present but are hidden,
which influence Dice rolls/Chances to lose cohesion
to be made visible
, perhaps in unit tooltip menu or a special unit tooltip sub menu or alternatively a brand new interface outside the tooltip, toggable in some way
Examples:
-1 modifier:
>8% shooting casualties in shooting
>5% melee causalties in melee
significantly more melee mosses then kills
unit is at 75% strength
foot troop with threatened flank
shot by artillery in shooting
medium/warriors/light/dragoons losing to mounted/mixed/heavy/determined in open terrain in melee
any troops losing impact vs lance or salvo foot
foot losing impact vs impact foot
disrupted/severely disordered
(some of the examples, taken from steam guide)
would this be too much of a work or something doable in the (near) future

Re: UI Suggestion
You can see all the modifiers that applied to each Cohesion Test in the Combat Log (C hot key, or toggleable in left-hand Tools menu or Settings screen).
There would not be much point in trying to show them in the pre-combat tooltips, because several of them would not yet apply.

nice, never saw the potential of combat log even after 1700 hours of play time. now i cant play without combat log sitting on my lower right screen where the mini map wasrbodleyscott wrote: ↑Mon Apr 06, 2020 9:40 pm You can see all the modifiers that applied to each Cohesion Test in the Combat Log (C hot key, or toggleable in left-hand Tools menu or Settings screen).

now the issue arises in the form of tidiness/ability to present information and interact with it
after testing for 20 minutes i noticed that often i find myself confused in a sense that i dont know what exactly am i looking at (multiple units fighting all over the battlefield). often i need 1-2 minutes to see exactly what happened.
when i press End Turn:
for example unit >1< fights, gets logged and 10 lines of text appear. Then right away close combat report in the middle of the screen happens , i click ok and then right away unit >2< fights, gets logged and 10-15 lines of text appear in the log . now those 10 lines of text of unit <1> are gone UP and unit <2> 's text is in its place. i click Ok and unit <3> fights and the process is repeated untill i have say 10 units , each 10 lines of text in a big chaotic battle.
point is that it would be useful for a player to be able to fully access the log (scroll up and down ,move the window etc) EACH* time SINGLE combat is resolved (while the game is stoped/frozen, to be able to access the log fully) , and not be forced to watch 3, 5 or 55 fights and then scroll up and down and try to remember exact situations (visualize physical history on the map) that was described in that log
would this be possible to implement

Re: UI Suggestion
The Close Combat Cohesion Test modifiers are also shown in the Detailed Close Combat Reports, so you can read them there, combat by combat, rather than in the combat log.
