I held more objs but still lost

Anybody know why I suffered a 'DEFEAT' in big letters at the end of this Random generated mission?
There were 5 objective hexes on the map, I was Brits (defending) versus the Germans and although I held 3 (green) of them at the end, and jerry only held 2 (red) I still lost! (sniffle)

Isn't it stated in the mission objectives what you need to do to win?

But since you lost, I'm assuming you need to control all victory hexes.
