Hello,
I'm trying to figure out some rules stuff, but I can't find it in the manual / anywhere else. I have had 2 cases where the enemy tank was able to move more than i predicted based on what the game shows me. Both additional movement involved roads, so i wonder: is there a movement bonus for tanks on roads? Seems like they were able to move 1 more hex than predicted in both cases. Involves a Somua and BT-5.
Can be seen here: https://youtu.be/YGKSDAZQoKA
Thanks!
Movement bonus?

Re: Movement bonus?
It's not a bonus per se, but movement costs in Panzer Corps 2 can be fractional, and on roads some movement costs are less than 1, including costs for tracked movement (0.7 for major roads, 0.8 for normal and dirt roads). Full information can be obtained from PanzerCorps2/Content/Data/Roads.csv. Note that movement costs in this table are multiplied by 10, so 10 means 1 movement point.

Re: Movement bonus?
Ah thanks, that helps a lot. Is there any way to also see this info ingame? I know about the unit info screen. But the ingame info on the hex tile just tells me the movement is 1 for tanks/tracked units. That means im getting the wrong data and make the wrong decisions based on that info. Checking the costs in a seperate file while playing or remembering from head seems a bit of a burden.
Re: Movement bonus?
You are quite right, I need to add display of road movement table in-game. Actually, done. Will be in the next patch.

On a somewhat related topic, what is the difference between countryside and whatever the normal clear terrain is called? I swear when I was mousing over the tool tip, the numbers appeared the same.
Re: Movement bonus?
Clear and Countryside terrains are the same in all but appearance.

Thanks for the quick response. I just want to add, I love what you have done with this game - well done and thank you!
