Game crash after selecting North Africa scenario

Hello,

I have been playing game for few hours and I didnt encounter any issues so far but now after campaign in France when given a chocie between Barbarossa and North Africa after chosing North Africa scenario my game crash. Same happens when I want to start new campaign in North Africa. Others scenario seems to work properly.

I tryed disabling my antivirus and updated my graphic card drivers.

I think you have the same error like me:

Reinstall the game with Administrator rights (run as administrator).
There are missing some files and folders.

Yes it looks pretty similar. I read your topic before making mine but unfortunately I am running 1.04 version of the game and still have this issue.

Hm, at the moment I am playing the North Africa scenario and I have no chrash.
At my first installation of PC2 I lost some files and folders. I found it out later with process monitor in the sysinternals suite. Start this software, open PC2 and try to start the scenarion. After the crash you can filter out the results with success. Now you will find errors with PC2. In this error can see the files which are missing.

I don't think missing files are problem. I reinstalled game yesterday and today i checked all files by steam verification. It's really frustrating since North Africa is scenario that I wanted to play the most.

I also downloaded most recent patch but issue still occurs

Process Monitor von Sysinternals is the only chance to find out what happen.
Furthermore check your HDD or SSD. It is possible that you have bad sector on the disk and in this sector there are some files of PC2. HDSentinel can help.

I tried both and neither helped much. But I reinstalled game once again and apparently it works now.
