Program won't even run

I get error messages saying XAPOFX1_5.DLL and X3DAudio1_7.DLL cannot be found and it crashes out. Both of these files are sitting in my sysWOW64 folder.

I'm running Windows 10.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I've run dxdiag and it says everything is just fine. All my drivers are current.

still no advice to offer then, as no report or error logs posted, so have nothing much to go on i'm sorry to say

Since the xapofx1_5 DLL file is one of many files contained in the Microsoft DirectX software collection, xapofx1_5. ... dll error message could apply to any program that utilizes Microsoft DirectX, but it's most commonly seen with video games, the same as X3DAudio1_7.DLL

so following the advice in the sticky to re install the prerequisites should have fixed the issue tbh

I tried to attach dxdiag.txt to my last post but I get an "invalid file extension" error message.

I've fixed the issue. Seems what I needed to do was reinstall DirectX only AFTER installing the program patch.
