Update via launcher is aborted

When I run the PC2 Launcher and click the Update Button, the following error is displayed. I start the launcher as admin and tried to remove and apply the read only flag on the game folder. Still get the error.
Any ideas? Although I already updated manually to 1.00.04 and there are no newer update files to download on your site in my account.

anti virus protection error normally

install as admin and run as admin sets up the correct file permissions to run and play, unless a really poor game unfriendly one
