So for some reason the designers have decided to go the way of Sid Meiers and apparently decided to hide information that is not absolutely necessary for the players but still nice to know. For example, if you hover over the stars of your units in the roster, you'll get a popup that says "experience", but sadly doesn't give you any number. There is similar stuff all throughout this game. All informations should be easily available, especially in a game like this.
Ships should be distinguishable much easier or should have their class (DD, CA etc.) in the name and so on.

It would be really nice if this could be changed sooner than later, I would really appreciate it. Don't hide information by default.

Why would you need to know the exact number of experience? Only the stars matter, and you can see them filling up as you get closer to gaining one.

And if you click any unit, then hit l key you see the exact number...

Don't clutter the UI needlessly.

It does not clutter the AI, since you have to hover over it, just like it was in Panzer Corps 1

When you hover stars of the selected unit, you get in-depth info in the tooltip, just like you want it. We could connect the same tooltip in Unit List, but I'm a bit vary of large tooltips constantly flickering as you move the cursor over the list of units.

Not seeing the exact number bothered me too. I recommend reconfiguring it.

But I really want to thank you guys for creating such an awesome game. Very good job and I'm looking forward to a grand campaign dlc and please make it happen on ipad (with a discount for those who already own the game )

Like I said, you CAN see exact number, just not everywhere.

There are many places you can see experience, including the example he cited.

As for other unit stats, there are also many places this can easily be found too.
The main one, which unfortunately is indeed off by default, is the bar graph icon, the 6th icon in the top left corner of the screen. Flip that on, get all the stats you want on any unit in a nice little UI element that is not at all intrusive.

Yes, why not.

If the devs want/have time they can probably add that.
