Getting old

Post by Lifever »

In mere hours our revered game will be the original with a successor.

Will it be superseded?
It will become the daddy in the lineup
Does this make it old by default?

Judging by social life - only if we feel old for other reasons.
The same is true for the products and games we play...

There are some among us who don't intend to make the switch.
Primarily it seems unintentional because of technical reasons.
Are there other reasons?

What about multiplayer?
Will the new game be the essential evolutionary step up to esports glory?
The original certainly had its flaws that have never been polished.
If so... there are good reasons to make the switch.

Looking back there has to be a ceremonial act to conclude this chapter...

Will it be the last?

Nothing sinister yet
Probing the waters

Checking out PC2 for its multiplayer capability
We need to see if it is the sword strategy esports needs to strike down the enemy

Once we know that, we know a lot
