cant update from 1.00.03 to 04? wth?

it wont let me update it? says to contact slitherene help. yet i can DL the update, but have NO IDEA where to put that said DL to update the Newly Purchased game like 30mins ago, please help, Rick

There is no 1.00.04 .
If your 1.00.03 plays don't worry about it.

I downloaded the 1.00.04 update (slowly ) & ran it as 'Administrator'.
Updated automatically & is working.

Sorry, we don't have a dedicated 24hr tech support and given the state of play with the virus and the offices being closed, things are a little less perfect than we'd like. I'm sure someone will give you a more satisfactory reply as soon as they can.

I was able to update to 04 - took quite awhile to download but that may have to do with server being busy on first day of release.

Might be important to note that I have the Field Marshal Edition. Not sure but it may only be for that edition, need someone who knows more than me to answer that.

Also for what it's worth I was not able to get the check for update button to work, I found the 04 after loading game and looking at available updates.

if you are a beta tester, sometimes it's better to delete the beta game and start with a fresh game, then errors don't happen or happen less
