Brennus's Gauls

Post by Eusebius »

I don't have Immortal Fire, yet. What would be the best Army to depict Brennus's Gauls - the Brennus who invaded Greece, not the one that sacked Rome. would the Gallic list from the Rise of Rome book be more accurate or the Galatian List (not sure how it looks) from Immortal Fire work?

Galatan list is the one you need, man. Superior impact foot/swordmen by the time they invaded Greece, plus some light chariots and superior armoured cavalry. Quite tempting, in my opinion. You can even add some scythed chariots later.

Likely you already know, but Brennus in celt tribes was a synonym of the word "leader". So it's very likely the 2 Brennus (divided by over 100 years) have in common the role, not the name.
Apart from this, Galatian List in Immortal Fire book is your list.
