Hi folks,
Cannot fathom this one.
In the screen shots below Muslim cavalry (36) and Armoured Lancers (18) were in combat with a disrupted LC and a fragmented Armoured Lancers unit, respectively, at start of my opponents turn.
The combats were to their direct fronts.
Both enemy units were routed and dispersed - nowhere to go - in my opponent's turn.
However in my turn although neither unit is marked as pursuing and both have 16/16AP but only one unit - the Muslim Cavalry can move.
You can see this below as I have two screen shots one with the Muslim Cavalry selected and one with the immobile Lancers selected.
What am I missing here that prevents the Armoured Lancers (18) moving?
Anyone explain please?

The Lancers have "No CC" on their unit card, which means they cannot move this turn.
I don't know why they have No CC and the Muslim Cavalry don't, it probably depends upon exactly what they were doing in the previous turn.

No CC - is I think no command control - which also puzzled me the Lancers have a sub-general there.
That aside and as explained both units were in combat the Muslim Cavalry with disrupted LC to its front and the Lancers with a fragmented armoured Cavalry.
Both enemy units were routed and with nowhere to rout to both dispersed this during the enemy turn.
Thanks for the reply but still no wiser regarding the Lancers inability to move and they do have 16/16 AP.

Maybe one of the units was broken and dispersed in-between turns (if your opponent ended their turn without playing out that melee)? That leads to similar weird results sometimes.

Yep could be but I should have thought the Lancers would then be 'pursuing'.
I have had that before.
I cannot honestly recollect from the replay if the combat was resolved after my opponent had finished.

Did the LH rout as a result of seeing the lancers rout, as opposed to being routed in combat? If so then your lancers have fought a melee this turn (assuming this happened after your opponent hit End Turn), whereas the light spear cavalry haven't. So the lancers have been marked as unable to do anything else this turn and the light spear cavalry haven't.

Hi Richard,
Thanks for the reply Richard - much appreciated - I think sequence was Armoured Lancers vs fragmented Armoured Lancers combat = rout causing LH to go from disrupted to fragmented then combat = rout.
LH and Armoured Lancers have nowhere to go and both disperse.
I have to admit that I am not certain this is correct except that the LH went from disrupted to fragmented as the Fragmented AL were routed.
I certainly cannot be sure if the combats were resolved before or after my opponent hit end turn.
