Traversing allies clients

You can pass through your own clients regions, through your allies regions but not through the regions of your allies client.

That seems a bit strange. Especially since you can't make those clients your allies their lands become totally impassable short of declaring war to your (former) ally.

I encountered this problem yesterday and I find it really bizarre and frustrating too!
