A party of Vandals was traveling to Rome to discuss theology when stopped by the Roman border guard. The Romans staunchly defended their position until they had to admit that they couldn't adequately cover one side of it. So it was resolved that the doctrine of Areios had the sounder logic behind it.

My opponent took a clever defensive position surrounding his troops with forests on either side. Unfortunately, his warbands struggled greatly against my lancers with his sub-Romans taking the brunt of their initial charges and subsequently collapsing leaving his flanks exposed.

Challenge1 (Arab) drew with IMC (Viking) 39-31

The Arabs managed to hold a large stream that ran through the centre of the field which nullified their cavalry superiority but also hindered the heavily armoured huscarls trying to cross.
A very enjoyable match that see-sawed throughout and cold have gone either way had darkness not fallen......

With 8 wins from his 8 starts so far, newcomer vvanttin has won Late Antiquity Division D with his Germanic Horse Tribes army. Both Macedonczyk and ggarynorman can still equal vvantin's points total were he to lose his last match, but as he has beaten both players already he cannot be denied the automatic promotion place now.
