When playing the game I can hear all the sound FX. However, when I view the replay of the battle, all sound FX are there except the gun sounds. Missiles, flak, explosions, music and com chatter but no sound from the capital ships or fighters cannons and guns. I've had the game for about a year as well as every DLC and it was not always this way. I've tried adjusting the audio sliders to no avail. Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas on how to resolve this? Is this a known bug or a unique one?

Yes, this is a known issue with the xb1 version since the resurrection update. It’s actually a (hopefully temporary) fix, as the resurrection update did not go well for xb1. Hopefully soon, we can get a further update to have all sound effects back, but for now, we have to live with it so that the game can run somewhat smoothly on xb1.

Thanks. In the meantime I had deleted the game and installed it on a couple different external SSD's and even deleted my saves locally and in the cloud. All it got me was a couple of random moments where the gun sounds came back for a couple seconds. Now knowing this is a bug, I can stop trying to correct it. I enjoy playing this and watching the battle play unbroken is a great feature. However not hearing all the SFX is really disappointing/annoying...

Yeah, I agree. Sin and Sacrifice has been the apex for the game on XB1, performance wise. Unfortunately, Resurrection has probably been the low point, in my opinion. A bit of a dampener, so to speak.

In Replays and normal gameplay on the XBOX version, there is often no audio for most of the weapons that are shooting.
often the medium guns on colonial ships are audible, but the BS artillery and often the heavy guns have no audio.
I also find that the Flac audio is sporadic, normal for short moments. It's almost like the audio cant overlap idk.
