Division A

Morbio (Roman 197-284 AD with Arab 312 BC - 299 AD ally) draws with XLegione (Sassanid Persian 350-476AD with Armenian allies 253-476AD) 57-52

It wasn't a good day to be in the infantry in this slug-fest! The Armenian elephants destroyed much of what they encountered and the Catafracts were resolute too. The Roman cavalry and Camels did well against the enemy cavalry archers and skirmishers. The Romans made a desperate attempt to take the field at the end but lost more men and still fell short of victory. An honourable draw.

Division D

vvanttin (Germanic Horse Tribes with Dacians) beat Macedonczyk (Jewish Revolt) 40-14

In Alternate Timeline D, Vandals and Jews were fighting over the carcass of the Eastern Roman dominion. In the end, Jews were exiled to Palestine, and Vandals ruled until overthrown by Arab Conquest in the Early Middle Ages. The site of the battle is still today littered with arrowheads, bullets and skirmisher bones.

Division Cool

blobka (Corinthian 550-461BC) beat kerrak (Assyrian 681-609 BC with Arab allies 1000-313BC) 23-25 the enemy has surrendered.

GG, I well know how does it feel, we all do here, friend, but my opinion -is that you must always finish what have you started, not for the end result but, for the process of learning bits of wisdom. Nonetheless, well played. Fight sooN! :)

PS: You should not had follow my troops' displacement like that, it was a maneuver, a trick of the sort, to screw over your rows of archers, sorry.

Division B

GDod (Polish with viking ally) defeats Nijis - Spanish 900-1049AD 42 - 16

A forest guarded by cheap polish cavalry helped tie up the right flank while the left pursuing swarms of lights. But the center was where the real battle was undertaken with the spear, the sole Huscarl unit and Berserks dealing to the infantry and continually forcing back the Spanish cavalry. Like the previous match the Spanish infantry faltered and cost the game. An enjoyable game thanks to Nijis valiant effort and his continued pressure.
