I'm not sure what selecting the Campaign Battle Choice selection of 1 or 2 (Pursuit or no Pursuit) is supposed to do. Does the pursuit commence as a follow-on from the previous battle? Would "No Pursuit" just skip the battle with the choice of 1 or 2? Or is this something completely different, where you fight a set battle and decide to pursue or not? What if you lose?
I think this selection just needs a bit more detail as I don't completely understand how it is supposed to work.

Yes, on a new map. The enemy fight with whatever they had left. The pursuers fight with their "advance guard" - being sufficent units from their surviving forces to match the enemy force at the current difficulty level, priority being given to faster units.

No it will just generate a new battle with the player side being fully reinforced and the AI side generating a new army.
We have avoided going into detailed explanations of the mechanics in the Campaign stage screens because once a player has come across that situation once he will know how it works on future occasions, so detailed explanation each time could get rather tedious and immersion-breaking.I think this selection just needs a bit more detail as I don't completely understand how it is supposed to work.
We also don't think that it is always a bad thing for there to be a degree of uncertainty into the consequences of decisions, at least the first time such a situation is encountered. Some people might prefer a "suck it and see" approach, and to sometimes be presented with situations that are outside their usual comfort zone.
If a player prefers to know in advance exactly what to expect, he can save the game and start up each choice briefly before making a final decision.

Thank you for the quick reply. I now understand.
I did not mean for the explanation to be "in the game itself" (it would be immersion breaking as you stated), I was asking how it worked on the "Campaign Creation" side of things as it was not explained in the posted creation guide. As I was looking at the choices I had no idea how this selection would possibly impact the Campaign and how it could be worked in.
