Want to buy the game but scared of Java problems - advices

Basically, the game really interests me but i am not sure i can make the game to play. Is there a way to be sure the game works? if i try the demo and the demo works on my pc, the full game will as well?

Absolutely.
The demo used a different copy protection system that caused some problems but for the Military History Commander - Europe at War this was changed (for the better) so do not worry

Java is included into the install so it is transparent for you gamers.

demo is no longer available it seems (i guess it was for old game).

Yes it is safe to buy.
There was only problem with the demo of old CEAW, NOT any problem with the new Military History Commander Europe at War
