Division C
Tresantes (Lydian) defeats Bluefin (Italian Hill Tribes) 58 - 12
This was actually on the knife edge for most of the battle...until the most epic cascading rout/continued cavalry charge I think I have ever seen. Frankly, if that happened to me, I’d sob - but Bluefin showed very good humour.

cromlechi - Egyptian 405-343BC (Rise of Persia DLC) defeats GDod - Indo-Greek 175BC-10AD with Saka allies 300BC-50AD 64-59
Another game that went to the wire. This time the God's favoured the Egyptians but could easily have gone either way. Excellent game and sporting opponent.

Division A
Geffalrus (Macedonians) defeats youngr (Indo-Greek) 61-33
Convinced that they were going to face a storm of arrows, the Macedonians brought a large screen of Thracians and thureos to protect their precious pikes. Instead, the Indo-Greeks opted for a more skirmish oriented strategy, forcing the Thureos to pursue them into a large forest. While the phalanx engaged the elephants and supporting pikes, the thureos proceeded to attack the skirmishers with all the fury of a sleepy kitten. Angered at yet another invasion of Hellenistic heathens, the Indian melee troops cut a bloody swath through the thureos in the forest. The phalanx managed to overcome the elephants and pikes just barely in time and rotate their sarissas to protect the wide open flank. The Indo-Greeks begrudgingly accepted defeat, but their unbroken spirit ensured that this "victory" would not be one of those that the Macedonians boasted about in the agoras back west.
Good game to my resilient opponent.
