Cannot load Gates of Troy

I would be greatful if anyone can tell me why I keep getting "Error 6001" when trying to load Gates of Troy. I'm running XP Pro and my TEMP directory in the (Windows directory) is empty,it asks this. I don't know what programs to stop other than virus programs which I have tried to no avail. Any help would be welcome?.

Do you have your Windows Firewall turned on? If so try turning it off and try to install again.

Sorry you are having problems. Which version do you have, ie which country are you in and where did you buy it. Also let us know your machine specs.

sorry you're having problems. I can see the order went through. You should have received a mail to timothyplymale at yourdomainname dot com that includes the download details. This will tell you your registration code & where to download the game. Let me know if you need any more help, but quickly, as I'm away from this evening for a week & will not be able to respond.

Thanks for your speedy reply. I just checked my email....no notification yet. When I first attempted the down load a security alert appeared. I clicked do not proceed and opted for the "mirror". Do you think I botche it?

The purchase definitely went through so the mail shoudl have been sent. I will send you teh details again just to be sure.
