Hey guys, I have been very interest in playing pazifik korps for a long time. I have downloaded the mod, I hav the mod enabler and have some idea about hot it works. However every time I try to run the mod it says: ""CRC check failed. Please try to reinstall the game" I have done what the install says," PanzerCorps.exe overwriting existing file
Mss32.dll
steam_api.dll

Rename first the folder audio to audiomp3 and than audiowav to audio. The steamversion have problems with mp3. (ps was it the mod folder the panzer corps folder?)
I have looked on the dmp forums and I feel like Im hitting my head against the wall because its all in German. please help, I want to play this mod, as well I need help with amulet and ost front

did you use JSGME?

u don't have to use it. Just make a new folder with in it a copy of the game then overwrite with the files of the mod and play
my custom mini-campaign in order of battle :

Nope, I tried every thing. If you meant to take the files from the mod and then put them in the files of the main game I did that. It asked me if I wanted to replace them and I said yes. I'm not using the GME because you said it was not necessary. I get the Panzer corps Wehrmacht launcher version. Still I get the same issue "CRC check failed. Please try to reinstall the game" Im dumb founded and don't know what to do

Add the file PanzerCorps.TXT that contains the serial number

"CRC check failed"
This is an error that occurs during unpacking, with unsuitable unpackers. You need 7-zip in the latest version (19.00).
You can also ask your questions in the English section on DMP:

If you install the Mod and you do not add the file PanzerCorps.TXT that contains the serial number, you will have this message:

Pazifik.JPG
Pazifik.JPG (13.78 KiB) Viewed 5915 times
PS: I am not using the Steam version.

Unpack PK into a separate folder!
GME is not necessary.

"PanzerCorps.exe overwriting existing file
Mss32.dll
steam_api.dll"
Only for Steam version.

The PanzerCorps.exe(no Steam) is included in the mod.
You have to copy your serial number from PC to the unzipped Pazifik Korps folder and then you can play.

I got the mod to work by dropping the folder in .../My Games/Panzer Corps/Mods
Just add a GUID file to the 'DMP Pazifik Korps 4.3' folder. The formula for generating Guid files is secret, so I will attach mine.
Guid.txt.zip
(746 Bytes) Downloaded 149 times
If you want to replace PanzerCorps.exe it is in
C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Panzer Corps\
for the Steam version

PazifikKorps and Ostfront are standalone mods.

I recommend the following procedure:

1. create a folder, for example: D:\Pazifik Korps
2. unpack(7-zip V19) PK into this folder
3. these 3 files from the PanzerCorps folder of Steam
PanzerCorps.exe (overwriting existing file in Pazifik Korps folder)
Mss32.dll
steam_api.dll
copy into the folder from Pazifik Korps
4. run the game with the PanzerCorps.exe(Pazifik Korps folder)

The same applies to Ostfront.

But I don't know if PK with 1.30 or higher runs without problems.
For problems with the sound:
Rename the folder Pazifik Korps\audio to audiomp3 and than audiowav to audio.

Also I know this is for another mod, but I also tried Ost front, Now I did the same thing and it works, however the sound of some units are off. I get a loud static sound when using infantry or air planes. Any fixes to this ?

Hello,

Someone could explain me why it is impossible to start the 3rd campaign (SAIPAN) as a new game?
How can I start Saipan from scratch?

I posted many messages on DMP forum with this answer from Anduril : Saipan and Midway Japan not work! Sorry.

Will the mod be updated one day so that the player choosing Japan could properly start those two campaigns ?

Thx.

Looking at campaign.pzdat the starting points are
Japan: Marco Polo [China], Pearl Harbor, Pearl Harbor 2 [1944]
USA: Midway

Pearl Harbor 2 comes after Japanese victory at Midway in Japanese campaigns.
It starts with 15,000 in prestige to buy an army.

Saipan is scenario 16 in the 31 scenario USA campaign, not a starting point.
You could modify campaign.pzdat to make it a starting point, but you would need to figure the starting prestige to buy US units.

Note I am not using GME so I don't know if the start campaigns screens are messed up.

On the main screen, you have 4 icons, 1 per campaign:

1. Marco Polo : Japansese campaign starting in China: it works well --> OK
2. Midway Japan : it starts erroneously in Pearl Harbor --> NOK
3. Saipan: it refuses to start (since no starting point in campaign.pzdat) --> NOK
4. Midway USA : start well in Midway --> OK

Adding the Guid.txt file and dropping into your Mods folder gives this:

Oddly the Axis flag hexes have the German Cross and not the Rising Sun.
