Unit Stats - What do the yellow numbers mean

When attacking a unit - I see yellow numbers appear in the Unit Stats next to the static stats for that unit type - what do these numbers signify - Please see screenshot

There is currently a unit comparison going on. Right now you are comparing the bulgarian 75mm Krupp M 1904 with the british Valentine Mk II.
For each category the yellow numbers represent the unit with the better stat in that category. The bulgarian 75mm Krupp M 1904 is represented by the left number in each category. The british Valentine Mk II is represented by the right number in each.category.

Yeah, and just to add on this - in your pic you have the artillery selected on the map (white box), and your mouse pointer is hovering over the tank (tooltip).

Everytime you do this with two units they both appear in the lower screen as GUI pics, and this kind of stat comparison happens. There is a similar way to compare units in the purchase screen.

Same thing I do when comparing girlfriends using their pics click on one hover mouse over the other and compare stats ...
