OK - Thanks.

[ Apologies for the confusion - your previous post here was misunderstood ( rather "ambiguous" perhaps ? ). ]

Further to my previous emails - I also get the same problem :

"This site can’t be reached

The connection was reset.
ERR_CONNECTION_RESET"

when using each of the links at the top of the webpage ( I.E. HOME , STORE , NEWSLETTER - all in addition to SUPPORT ( previously advised ) ).

Please report etc. as required.

Thanks.

I gained access to this website for the first time in quite a while today. i believe my problem started with my first visit after the new website was set up.
Note that whilst I can access the main Slitherine webpage and at least this forum / thread, I am unable to access Support ; instead I get a google ( chrome ) screen showing :

This site can’t be reached

The connection was reset.
ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

This same error also occurred during my recent past attempts to visit this website. Also it still occurs when I try to access the Matrix Games website.

It occurs to me that some change has been made ( at some stage ), that has today enabled me to access this website. Is it possible for this change to be made to the Matrix Games website too ?
And also the Slitherine Support webpage/s ?

Thanks.

NB : the last time I tried ( unsuccessfully ) to view the Slitherine Website, was late ( UK time ) on 16th September ( 2019 ).
It appears to me that you are missing the points I made here...

I had this problem with both the Slitherine Website and the Matrix Games Website, from shortly after the new Websites were set up. Up to then everything worked fine.

The day I posted my original post here, was the first day since then that I had managed to gain access to the main Slitherine Website. Unfortunately, I am still unable to access the Matrix Games Website ( and the Slitherine sub webpages previously metioned ).

As I can now access the Main Slitherine Website, I do not see how anything on my PC can be the problem here !!!

Slitherine have IMHO obviously made some Website / System change/s ( between 16th September 2019 and 21st November 2019 ), that have enabled me access to the main Slitherine Website on that latter date ( that unfortunately were not made to the previously noted Slitherine sub pages or to the Matrix Games Website ).

My PC has the Windows Vista O/S. Perhaps you need to try to "recreate" this problem using a Vista ( or older ) O/S ???
To be honest, I am also uncertain if attempting to "recreate" the error is the correct approach here. Surely you need to recheck any / all code changes made between those dates...

{ FYI : I do NOT use any Internet Security Program, so that is not an issue... }

One cannot expect companies to support Windows Vista (or even older) when not even Microsoft itself does it.

PC's with Vista ought to be upgraded or retired or the user must accept that he can run into unsolvable issues.

I was expecting nothing ( do you think I am stupid ? ). The information proved was just information ( in case it was useful ).
The suggestion posed was very much in vague hope rather than actual anticipation...

Why state the bloody obvious here ?! Have you even bothered to read and digest my comments re my problem/s at all ?

The problem/s here are at the Slitherine / Matrix Games end, as I could originally not access both, but now ( without doing anything at my end ),
I can now access Slitherine. Also, as I can now access the main Slitherine Webpage and Forums, why is it I cannot
access the pages linked at the top of the Webpage ? If someone has done something to enable access for older O/S to the main Webpage and the
Forums web page, is it not sensible to enable such access to all parts of a Website ?

[ NB : Slitherine and Matrix Games are the ONLY sites with this problem, out of at least 40 Websites that I have visited during the period previously referred to ).

Many gamers use an older O/S as they prefer the older games. Surely it is sensible, that gaming Websites maintain contact with their subscribers
( who still play those games ) rather than deliberately ( or otherwise ) "cut them off" ?

[ NBB : This "problem" would also have been posted in the Support area, but I cannot access that due to the problem itself ! ]

The issue is that you can't login in the new sites?

The main problem here is that I cannot access the Matrix Games Website at all ( since the new websites were set up ). Also I can only access the Slitherine Forums Webpage/s.

NB : As you can see from my ability to Post here, I can Login...

NBB : Can I politely suggest, that it makes it a lot easier to address any issues raised if you actually read the previous posts on the subject ( including your own ) !

I read the posts but it wasn't clear for me. The fact you can login in this forum doesn't mean you can login in the site. It's a different infrastructure.
I'm sorry but I can only suggest you to try with a different device.

I am sorry, but I fail to see how you could consider this a Login issue given the details provided in my posts. I also don't think I can really simplify it any more than I have already...

Noted ; but to simply get to a Login Screen or any type of Matrix Games / Slitherine Webpage ( other than the Slitherine Forums one ) would be useful.
I'm sorry but I can only suggest you to try with a different device.
Noted ; but why is it that I can NOW get into the Slitherine Forums Webpage, when I could NOT get in after the initial Website changes ?
Nothing has changed at my end, so something must have changed at your end...!

NB : I guess I may as well unsubscribe from the Matrix Newsletter / Website if nothing can be done.

Is it really that difficult to give a sensible ( and honest ) answer to the above question, such as : "We can't be bothered to look into it as it would take too much hard work..." ?
