Re: What does "Stacking Attacks" Mean
I assume it's a reference to "Mass Attack", where if you surround an enemy unit with several of your units, the enemy gets a reduction in Initiative (meaning you're units are more like to hoot first, and thus take less return fire).matthew2582 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2020 11:12 pm In the recent Slitherine Q&A on PzC2 - reference was made to 'stacking attacks"

Maybe - though why the game's Rep on the Q&A would call Mass Attack - an established and well known term "Stack Attacks" seems oddnexusno2000 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2020 1:25 pmI assume it's a reference to "Mass Attack", where if you surround an enemy unit with several of your units, the enemy gets a reduction in Initiative (meaning you're units are more like to hoot first, and thus take less return fire).matthew2582 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 29, 2020 11:12 pm In the recent Slitherine Q&A on PzC2 - reference was made to 'stacking attacks"

Re: What does "Stacking Attacks" Mean
I believe the term "Stacking", in this context, means that each additional allied unit that is adjacent to the target enemy (and has not fired this turn) adds to the bonus. It is not just "Mass Attack" or "No Mass Attack" because the bonus scales with the number of eligible units that can participate.

Back in the day when we had board games like Panzer Blitz, stacking happened when you had multiple units in one hex
