Ok I made a scenario with VP hexes on the river and on plain land and I cannot either deploy units notice the pic showing I have clicked on a reserve unit NONE Of the 3 different flag types in ANY of the tow different locations provide deployment areas I think the reason is that the designer MUST assign Deployment hexes around each VP area or maybe its something else because I was unable to SAVE this scenario but am rebooting my computer and going to try and save it and play it through the scenario custom content play not the scenario designer ..matthew2582 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2020 11:48 pm Germany West 1939-40 v2.1 13-2-2020 - Scenario : 26Maginot
Why can't I deploy unit reserves?
I control Metz with flag at full mast
I have lots of supply from Metz
I have lots of CPs
Please see screenshot
Thanks - I am missing something obvious I am sure but I don't know what it is![]()
Heh, a timely issue. We just discussed this in the studio. Short answer: the flagged hexes must be city, town, or village terrain. Else you must make manual deployment hexes and time them as follows: "Available 0-0" for initial deployment only, or "Available X-XX (turns)." For example, "Available 1-24" in a 24 turn scenario would make the deployment hexes appear only in gameplay turns. Flagged urban hexes are the shortcut because they are always available, if owned by your alliance of course.gunny wrote: ↑Sat Feb 15, 2020 6:23 pmOk I made a scenario with VP hexes on the river and on plain land and I cannot either deploy units notice the pic showing I have clicked on a reserve unit NONE Of the 3 different flag types in ANY of the tow different locations provide deployment areas I think the reason is that the designer MUST assign Deployment hexes around each VP area or maybe its something else because I was unable to SAVE this scenario but am rebooting my computer and going to try and save it and play it through the scenario custom content play not the scenario designer ..matthew2582 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2020 11:48 pm Germany West 1939-40 v2.1 13-2-2020 - Scenario : 26Maginot

I would try to re reload the saved game of your last campaign and do it again since it got updated the rest of this info you already know ... ok in order to import a corps you must first have MANUALLY EXPORTED A CORPS in order to do - and this is the fine print which you may not be aware of in the event you have manually exported a corps when you start a new campaign it will then AUTOMATICALLY ask you if you want to import a corps. here are some pics and explanations which will take awhile to post because I have to submit each pic instantly before commenting on and then attacking another one .. who knows .. why .. but here goes ...matthew2582 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 4:18 pm Any ideas re my problem posted above about importing core - Many thanks
Well I guess it must be something to do with the fact that I originally had the 39-40 files which were then upgraded with copying the 1939-40 files into the 39-40 folder - or maybe not - who knowsErik2 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2020 8:47 am I just did a quick test starting 'Germany West 1939-40', nuking the first scenario and saving the free Gebirgsjäger unit as a core.
Started 'Germany West 1941-43', got the 'import core' question and imported the Gebirgsjäger unit.
So there are no issues with this regarding these specific campaigns.

Hello Erik,
One of the cool things about OOB, when it is relatively bug-free, that is, is that it's quite logical. I looked at the triggers, found nothing, then did a test playthrough and encountered the same result:
Nice find Bruce. I think the original reason for waiting for the last turn must be that when we capture the 3rd objective, a new secondary objective triggers in which we are ordered to hunt down all remaining enemy units.
