These images are not blurred but they have incorrect dimensions. I had to resize them to proper dimensions before importing them to Unit Navigator.

The Soviet infantry has 2 types of images and this does not correspond to the animations on the battlefield :

Is there a way to go back to my previous release before 8.3 ? My game is messed up. FW 190's are tactical bombers now in my game.

The F and G version have changed to attack aircraft because that is what they were used for. This change was requested here from various players.

The 190 A (like the later D) is still in the fighter class, which is correct.

How's this gonna affect existing scens/campaigns? (I hope none of these units were used in RedStar.)
At the very least I can forget my Panzerkrieg core import into Endsieg. All my experienced fighters are bombers now, with no cross-class-upgrade possible...

Playing with my mod, I didn't notice this change. I remember many players complaining about not being able to use the StuKa tact. bombers in Endsieg because of superior enemy air opposition, but I'm not sure this solution is really a good idea at this point (?!)

FW 190 F and G don't appear before 1943, so no impact on Red Star.

I may roll back this change as there seems to be some prob with air-air attacks in tac class, and unless it's a quick thing to iron out I rather change this back.

As for the complaints about air opposition in ES - ppl who want to use Stukas carelessly late-war vs. heavy enemy fgt presence *should* suffer, because that's what happened everytime the Luftwaffe's air superiority was seriously contested or even lost.

Most German Tactical Bombers have the "Precision Strike" trait except for the Fw190 F & G, an oversight?

PS: in Panzercorps, Fw190 F&G = tactical bombers, Fw190 A&D = fighters

I've played about the first half of Endsieg (the Russian part) on level 4 difficulty to test the new "tac. bombers". I've still got a few more scens with the yanks to test, but my "preliminary report" would be: Change it back or seriously rethink the unit's stats!

If those "bombers" are being accompanied by one or, god beware, TWO dogfighters, the whole enemy airforce is being crippled in one turn and my bomber remains alive still. With <8 HP the AI won't attack my second bomber anymore. And even if they do, the FW190's won't take (much) damage anyway.

I've attached a sample screenshot. Remember, the attacking planes had 12HP and my unit only 10HP. Any Junkers87 would have been shot down with them Soviet planes rather unscathed.

You know I'm no history expert, and even if it may be accurate to put those planes into the tac. bomber class, by doing so in the game, with those super high attack and defense stats, it unbalances the whole concept IMO. Not being able to use tac. bombers in Endsieg was quite the challenge and added an unique touch to the DLC. Like this, early German air superiority is easily manageable again.

I think you should change it back.

Well, I'm "panicking", because
1.) of the possible implications on the many existing custom scenarios and campaigns and
2.) I'm conflicted how to handle this change inside my mod if you decide to officially not roll it back...
