The Ghost Fleet is about to strike! New DLC for Battlestar Galactica Deadlock announced

Post by AlbertoC »

Battlestar Galactica Deadlock is back with a new DLC, Ghost Fleet Offensive.

With a new campaign, new ships, and munition types, Ghost Fleet Offensive will continue Battlestar Galactica Deadlock's Season 2.

Take initiative and bring the fight to the toasters in the new Ghost Fleet Offensive campaign, where you will be striking from the shadows and hitting hard behind enemy lines.

The DLC will be accompanied by a free update called Fleet Admiral Update, downloadable for free by all the owners of Battlestar Galactica Deadlock.

Ghost Fleet Offensive and the Fleet Admiral Update are due out on PC on February 25th, and it will be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 a few weeks later.

New Campaign

Ghost Fleet Offensive is a brand new 10-mission story campaign. Relive the infamous Ghost Fleet Offensive, strike behind enemy lines and turn the tide of the war for the Twelve Colonies.

New ships

Colonial Orion - Recon Frigate
A light frigate equipped with an experimental suite of ECM jamming and stealth technologies. Able to protect itself from hostile DRADIS sensors, the Orion can lay in wait, maneuver for the perfect torpedo angle, and then speed away while its stealth battery recharges.

Colonial Defender - Support Specialist
A support ship of Gemenese origin, the Defender is a mobile marine detachment platform. The Raptors from the Defender can both bolster the marine defense of friendly ships that have been boarded, and provide technical support to boost the strength of ally subsystems.
Based on the ship design and used with permission of Todd Boyce.

Cylon Medusa - Central Command
A technologically advanced command ship lined with point defense cannons, and capable of overclocking the subsystems of multiple ships with its advanced transmission arrays. The Medusa pushes the capabilities of Cylon technology to its very limits.

New Cylon Munitions

Cylon Cluster Nukes - A devastating multi-missile system capable of striking six individual targets with high yield nuclear warheads.
Cylon Virus Mines - A short-range ECM field generator that both hacks the subsystems of hostile ships, and compromises enemy squadrons.

Ghost Fleet Offensive will be accompanied by a new free update, called the Fleet Admiral Update.

The Fleet Admiral Update contains a plethora of new features and improvements, including:
- Fleet Admiralty Difficulty - For the ultimate challenge against Cylon Command.
- Updated officer profiles - All new artwork for your flagship officers .
- UI enhancements - More QoL improvements to the UI, including additional information tooltips, double-click to select all ships of the same type, more squadron groups, and more.
- Cinematics Browser - Replay any intro or outro cinematic you’ve unlocked.
- Select flagship - Select the ship in any campaign fleet you want as flagship, to get the most of your officer bonuses.
- New Loading Screens - Five new gorgeous loading screens.
- And more...

Battlestar Galactica ships and timelines

With the release of the ghost ship update I wanted to point out something below that maybe of interest in the game and the reimagined series or BSG75.

1 The Artemis or the real name that it should be called the Ares class. Now at some point in its life this battle star would have had a MK2 and MK3 upgrade.

Now in the information link you can see that the layout is very different more Battlestar artillery on top 10 in all so the Artemis or Ares as it should be know should have 10 in the game proof is here and you will find also there is 8 turrets ventral and still the 2 front facing.

I would like to point out in the MK3 both hull armour points I would think would not have gone up all that much. Note that both the ventral and front on this Artemis or Ares class Turret I would think are still just Heavy Turrets even in a MK3 so from the information I have and fact the game would be due to get a MK2 and a MK3 Artemis or Ares class upgrade in it making the game better would this happen yet to be seen but needed.

Artemis/Ares information link below.
https://battlestarprometheus.fandom.com ... estar_Ares

2 Atlas Carrier in the game as a Carrier I would think this would get both a MK2 and a MK3 upgrade in the game at some point as a carrier I would not expect extra air wings until a MK3 game version ship.

In a MK2/3 game update there would be more hull points and turrets and the turret hard points are there now at the back of the ship there is a similar turret emplacement spot for 3 more broadside heavy turrets each side like the ones already in place just look at the blueprints and 4 top and bottom what look to me turret hard-points for upgrades.

So the Atlas Carrier has some in game updates due to it because there are signs in the blueprints of what could happen.

3 The Berzerk Class now from the information link below at some point get a MK2/3 upgrades now no information and if it just gets a MK2 or its last MK3 upgrade.

From the information I understand The Berzerker will get an upgrade that will allow a viper squadron and a raptor squadron to be deployed it will gain 2 forward turrets and 10 turrets both top and bottom and 8 on the alligator head what kind no information supplied as for hull points It may have a small update no info on that so will the game follow this yet to be seen.

Berzerk information link below.

4 The Galactica or Jupiter Class now we know that both the standard Jupiter and the MK2 upgrade in game but in blood and chrome the Galactica has 24 top and Bottom mounted turrets so game is not close now at the fall of the colonies the 2nd war Galactica may have had turrets removed so do not know what the game is basing this on at this time but I would like to think its on the information link below.

In the Game the MK2 has 2 less turrets under the alligator head if you look at the pictures of the Galactica the picture must be of the MK3 Galactica so there must be a MK3 with 2 extra turrets under at the sides of the alligator head will the game get this update?.

5 Now for Pegasus or Mercury class at the time of the attack on the scorpion fleet shipyards it was in for its MK3 upgrade and from the information this consisted of update and additional turrets and Armour and the installation of more Silos for missiles and nukes information link below will this be in the game???

information link below on Pegasus at shipyard when attack was happening.

Now for some reading you may like on the New Colonial ships in the Upcoming DLC for Deadlock

Battlestar Orion detailed information below.

Defender Class detailed information below.

https://en.battlestarwikiclone.org/wiki ... ped_vessel

Other ships in the Ghost fleet will they come in other DLC not known but information links of other Ghost fleet ships below.

https://en.battlestarwikiclone.org/wiki ... amaran.png

And last but not least at the time of the Attacks in the fall of the colonies Battlestar Galactica Jupiter was not going to be recommissioned in a Galactica Mercury Class but the Brand new at the time of the Fall Nova Class detailed information below.

I understand the Lobo Negro ship yard has built 3 that are active and the ones that was lost at the attack was being built at Scorpion Fleet shipyards not Lobo Negro

Thanks and Enjoy the info.

Why Battlestar Galactica deadlock needs a Valkyrie in it the Video below Gives good reason for its Needed inclusion in the Game below enjoy.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjmgkHq ... tion=share

Both the Minerva and Jupiter need more Point defence turrets the Minerva need 2 to 3 more each side and the Jupiter need the same.

if you have played the ghost fleet and used the Defender that has better Point defence than any Battlestar in Deadlock which is sad.

You can use the Defender as a good ship shredder when a battlestar should have this ability if not better.

The game needs a mode where you can play all the DLC as a full campaign mode all in chronological order.

This should give you any DLC ships made available earlier in the Campaign mode because in truth some ships would have been available earlier like the Defender and the Osiris Both usable long before Ghost fleet offensive.

Above you stated this ---> Ghost Fleet Offensive and the Fleet Admiral Update are due out on PC on February 25th, and it will be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 a few weeks later.

It is now a month later, any date set for ghost offensive coming to xbox?

Also when the ghost fleet expansion comes to xbox perhaps for a few days make the base game discounted for a few days, as I'm trying to lure my friends into the game but they are on the fence. It may be the extra lure I need to get them hooked.
