Campaign Posting Question

Post by timberwolf15 »

So I am making a campaign - Thanks to all the support documentation the thing is actually working anyway when the thing is completed where and how do I upload it somewhere so a person can download it and play it - it seems many campaigns are hosted or available or whatever the correct internet term is they are available from dropbox business ???

Is there a free site that we trust ????

Thanks

Hi gunny :)

As far as I know there are not rules regarding how the mods or campaigns or scens should be hosted. I use mega (mega.nz) just because I find it convenient for me, but as you said people here also upload materials to dropbox, and I think i have seen links to google drive too. These three sites should work fine (afaik) so you can choose whatever you feel inclined to, but maybe people here have a more useful/strong opinion regarding these (or other) possibilities. Also, I know there is a way to upload files directly to slitherine, since some users attach files to forum messages, but I think it is not an option open for everyone (o maybe I don't know how to do it :?: ).

Also, congrats and best of wishes for your campaign, it's always great news when a new creator joins the crew here :)

I have been using MediaFire for a long time and I am satisfied : "Mediafire is a one-click file hosting site hosted in Houston, Texas. In particular, it is known to impose fewer restrictions than its competitors on non-subsiding users."
