4 player MP restart

Starting this thread as we had a 4p game that due to misunderstanding had to restart and its much easier to communicate in a thread rather waiting to end a turn in a game that goes nowhere to exchange msgs.

The game had Irishguards, Lunderdoff and Bertram.

Should I suggest we each take a major and have a free flow alliance (no alliance houserules?)

OK for me, but I think IG prefers to play 2 Major and 2 Minor. 1 Major ally with 1 Minor : like Carthage-Iberia vs Macedonia-Rhodus.

Just saw that.
Irish Guard responded in game saying he is in for 4 majors and free alliance play and that he would post here, but he hasn^t yet. Maybe he misunderstood which forums I meant? Not sure if he is active around here.

Maybe you could start a 4P each player choosing a major from a specific pool? That would mean faster turns and plenty of interactions between the players, it would be pretty close to some kind of table top wargame. (eg Carthage, Rome, Macedon, Ptolemy)
