Unit glow

I was wondering why some enemy units glow and some don't?

One of the glow options is 'terrain based', but it looks like the terrain is identical in the two locations in the screenshot...?

I have my unit glow set on "Player Colors" - what does that do?

One player's unit colours are probably the same as the faction colour.
I guess this may be useful for multiplayer games.
