Question about unique trait in unit parameters

Post by maguro »

Hi everyone, I'm wondering about the unique trait in unit parameters window of the scenario editor. Does anyone know how it functions? the description reads "if an auxiliary unit is destroyed, it will not appear in the subsequent scenarios". Not sure if I'm interpreting it correctly but I take this to mean that this trait will carry the unit over to the next scenario in a campaign as long as it survives the scenario. However, a quick test didn't seem to work. I am curious to see if anyone has any experience with it and advice on how to use it...

It is used in US Corps. Once in '42 and twice in '43 in the Anzio triad.
The unit has to be placed in the next scenario, it does not appear automatically.
There comes a time on every project when it is time to shoot the engineer and ship the damn thing.
