We had a great time playing FoG at Cold Wars this past weekend. On Friday there was a Mini event, that I broke into early and late periods (in 15mm, anyway; 25mm played a round robin). On Saturday we played doubles.

It is a more social event. The major success for me at COld Wars was finding the many new players. What I would suggest is for doubles to pair an expereienced player with a newer player and making them a more training event.Katsu wrote:That's impressive turnout.
Hopefully we can run a doubles tournament soon.
The other interesting thing is 1000 points allow you to have MOST toys in a lot of lists. Also the boards are still not crowded.
