auto break and pursuit

In past games I have assumed that if a unit is in melee with an opponent and the enemy auto breaks the unit that caused the auto break still makes a VMD even though all their opposing figs are removed from the table.

My reason being that what is actually happening is the first stage of a rout followed by the complete disintigration of the auto break unit as its everyman for himself and the unit spreads in all directions of the compass, so I think there should be an initial pursuit at least before the victorious units officers regain control of their men who are now free to do what they want.

As removal of autobroken units is the last thing in the JAP the broken BG routs as normal first and pursuits are done as normal.
