Above is a link to my quick FOG campaign rules.
Let me know what you think ?

The idea is zero book keeping , just an excuse to play more games.

I have a weakness for attractive maps, but was actually thinking the simplest would be the dice driven war and campaign generator in Warrior Kings (the system decides the wars, the player fights the battles and randomized rolls from the troop choices for each battle).

I also like DBA style with the strategic units being each a Commander with some BGs (or even single BGs) and recruitment/replacement by each area providing a base or two of appropriate types that reinforce or form new BGs. Could get big, small, even, or lopsided battles - of course players might be able to decline battle.

I would also be inclined to fight battles until there is a real result with one side holding the field and use attrition points just for post battle actions like recruitment, quality changes etc. Using skirmishers to cover a retreat or a fortified camp would actually have substantial value In a campaign.

I should put the graphics back up on the server at some stage, if anyone is interested, but you can puruse the rules for now.

There are suggestions for DBA/DBM, it wouldnt be hard to modify the DBM suggestions FoG bases.
