"?" in the Necron Tech Tree

This appears to be the apparently now defunct Fabricator Claw Array tech for Canoptek Spyders (v1.4.1 Release Notes). Is this actually defunct and still in the UI or does it actually do something and is just missing a description? I am quite confused by this as a new player. Otherwise loving the game. And detail offered would be appreciated.
