What if next dlc will be other trilogy...
I have a doubt: maybe Devs before second Soviet dlc wants to start Allied west trilogy:
1. Brits/Franch ‘39/41
2. Brits/USA ‘42/43
3. Allied ‘44/45
How many prob in Your opinion?

Hmmm. While I'd like to see those other DLC's someday, my vote would be for them to finish the Red Star trilogy now that they have started it.

I'd love to see an Allied campaign or two as well, but I think it would be wiser to finish publish the Soviet trilogy.
Anyway, the devs could get another designer starting on the Allied campaigns and add new units/specialisations/game enhancements later...

I´d like to see a grand campaign that could utilize the (core) Navy aspect of the game also, which I have missed alot. The navy would not have to be available for every mission, just once in a while.
A grand Jap or American Pacific campaign would be awesome. The US could maybe crossover to Europe in some way. The same could go for the Brits. A Grand Italian campaign could also be awesome and have room for some core naval action.

I also think that Devs will most likely end Soviet GC first
However, I wonder if, due to some modifications in the number of campaigns (e.g. there seemed to be only one campaign on the Eastern Front earlier), what will this decision have on the further development of OoB?
It seems rather certain that there will also be 2 or (most likely) 3 parts of Anglo-American campaign, I think that Devs could also be tempted to make western Allies naval campaign, too.
Such a campaign could include: the battle at La Plata estuary (a nod towards Bru
), the activities of the fleets in Scandinavia 1940, the battles near Cape Stilo, Matapan, the defense of Crete (land-sea) and Malta (air-sea), great convoy battles at Mediterranean 1942 (for example Op. Pedestal), great convoy battles in the Atlantic and in the Arctic Sea, etc.
However, my big dream would be an independent air campaign - the battle for Europe, which I have already written about several times here
(RAF Bomber Command & 8th USAAF vs Luftflotte Reich) - for example: Schweinfurt & Regensburg, Hamburg, Peneemunde, "Dambusters", Rome, Cologne, Ploesti, supply drops for the Warsaw Uprising, Dresden and many, many more, hunting for U-boots in the Bay of Biscay by RAF Coastal Command etc.

I would love to see a great naval campaign in the Pacific. Great idea!!!WarHomer wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2019 10:33 am I´d like to see a grand campaign that could utilize the (core) Navy aspect of the game also, which I have missed alot. Re: What if next dlc will be other trilogy...
Just to clarify, I mean a long/grand campaign that includes core naval warfare, not singular arms campaigns like Kriegsmarine or the suggested air campaign.
IMO Kriegsmarine has been the only "bad" DLC to date. I´ve played it through once and never had the desire to play it again. It was too much of the same, even though well done.

Re: What if next dlc will be other trilogy...
After playing through the first few missions of KM campaign, I can't imagine something I'd be less likely to buy than another air/naval only campaign. Easily my least favorite part of this franchise behind maybe only the Marine campaign, a campaign of literally nothing but bunker busting on tiny island strips.
The major combats of the Pacific campaign are already included for US Pacific and Japan Rising Sun campaigns for both sides. They are interesting interludes between standard campaign missions.
Atlantic and Mediterranean naval campaigns were notable primarily for their utter lack of large scale naval combats. All sides were keenly aware of the naval power differential. The major battles would be chasing subs (ugh) and fending off enemy air with ships (ugh). Otherwise destroyer/light cruiser brawls other than a few early war combats that included a couple of larger surface combatants.
All of which would make far more sense as interesting changes of pace in a UK-US-FRA-POL grand campaign.
BTW I will be very disappointed if there isn't a major mention made of the Poles in the next two SOV DLCs and ideally the use of the Poles as the Soviet sub faction akin to the Italians for the sand Germans. If combining Poles serving on the East and West they represented the fourth largest nation in the European allies. If the NKVD is used as the SOV subfaction this will be both ahistorical and frankly ridiculous.

If you want the Poles so badly it is only in the last part of Red Star, because the Polish army appeared on the front in the summer of 1944prestidigitation wrote: ↑Mon Sep 02, 2019 8:59 pm

and not as a faction - only auxilliary units on the map at most
(BTW, I haven't heard anything more foolish for a long time - Poles as a Soviet faction

Re: What if next dlc will be other trilogy...
I like the idea of further DLCs covering allied operations...or: a completely enhanced OoBWW2 2.0 starting with the Allies in Europe with a few new features!
