1- Nice, this is the shopping list the game presented me with, so I bought 3x T-34/85's and a bunch of ski troops..
2- The plan is to advance on the right-hand German objective (blue circle) then continue on to the second objective in the village-
3- Several Waffen-SS infantry units were lurking around the hill and the fighting was fierce as the body count testifies, but I was able to work my T-34's into position to hammer them with 85mm shells until they broke.
A single Stug G was the only German armour in the battle but it was no match for my 3x T-34s and was toasted.
I continued the advance into the village, flooding it with my ski troops who flushed out two Pak 40 ATG's and some Ostruppen units, then the victory message unexpectedly came up in my favour because I'd killed all his units and never had to take the second objective.
Summary- too easy, I think in future I'm going to give the AI a few extra clicks worth of points at the setup screen to give him a bigger force.

Note for newcomers- Ski troops at rest with their skis on their backs..
..and they put them on when we order them to move..
