Good Evening All.
I'm a long time PC wargamer who has moved over to the MAC. I have OOB:WWII and several DLCs. Looking at all the interesting MODs that others have created for this very interesting game, I am at a loss to find the necessary CSV files that everyone talks of modifying anywhere on my MAC. Are these files not available for the MAC? I'd appreciate any information or head slap that's necessary to get into modding this game on the MAC.
Thanks
Henry Hudson

Re: Location on the unit.csv for Mac version
Welcome, Henry. I'm not a Mac user but perhaps it's similar to Windows. First, though: Is your OOB direct download or Steam?

bru888,
It is a direct download. I have found the OOB:WWII folder under the Users\Henry\Order of Battle - WW2 folder that has the following folder structure:
Campaigns
Cores
Mods
RandomMaps
Replays
SaveGames
Scenarios
Screenshots
Settings
Skins
Even after downloading and loading the 'sample' Mod it has the units.txt in the Data Folder, but that only has the description go the Churchill in the Mod.
Appreciate your quick response!

Re: Location of the unit.csv for Mac version
Okay. That looks very similar to what is done in the Windows version. However, those are all gameplay folders. Like "My Games" stuff, you know? The program itself, in Windows, is in the Program Files folder. Look for something similar in Mac to this; in these screenshots, I drill down to where the Data csv and txt files are located:
I am sure that you don't need reminding to save the original files someplace. Also, I don't know Mac, but if it's like Windows, the operating system will not allow you to edit files within the Program Files folder. You must copy a file elsewhere, edit it there, and copy it back.

Re: Location of the unit.csv for Mac version
bru888,
Unfortunately there is nothing like that on my hard drive. There is only the Users\Henry\Order of Battle - WW2 folder and it doesn't contain any .txt or .csv files and a search of the whole hard drive with hidden folders showing finds none of the files that are listed by you in the \Content\Data folder in Windows. Hopefully one of the developers with chime in as to whether the MAC version does not include those files and the ability to create custom content except in the Windows version.
Thanks for your assistance.
