Geffalrus (Byzantines) defeats youngr (Dacians) 55-18
Early one morning a Byzantine patrol of infantry and cavalry arrived at a large forest that the local magistrate swore was haunted. The cavalry rode out to investigate and found that it was infested..........with a massive horde of Dacians. Initially, the Dacians refused to leave the glade amidst the encircling woods, and shot arrows at the cavalry as they rode by. Eventually, one cavalry regiment found a large gap in the forest, and proceeded to use the hairy Dacians for target practice. Enraged, the Dacians sallied forth into the waiting lances of the Byzantine cavalry, while the rest of both armies rushed to join the fray. The Dacians were able to drag some horsemen down and carve their way through some unfortunate limitanei, but ultimately, failed a few too many cohesion rolls, allowing the Byzantine cavalry and heavy infantry to carve their way through the horde.
