Damage Model Glitches - PS4 Command/Resurrection

Hi guys,

I play with persistent damage turned on, and I’ve been noticing some glaring graphical glitches with the damage model as I’ve gotten more battles under my belt in the Resurrection campaign. I’ve taken a number of screenshots to demonstrate the issue for you.

The Artemis and Adamant damage disappears and reappears as the camera moves around the ships. However, the band of damage on the Jupiter II doesn't seem to behave the same way. Hopefully this will be an easy fix, because it appears to have been introduced in either the Command update, or version 1.11 that arrived earlier this week.

Apologies for the double post, but I wanted to update the information for this bug.

Given that I've now studied more replays, it seems that of the ships I'm currently using, (Jupiter Mk I, Mk II, Minerva, Artemis, Heracles, Atlas, Ranger, Janus, Adamant and Celestra) only the Minerva and Janus aren't showing any obvious signs of these bugs, with the Jupiter model from season 1 being affected in almost exactly the same way as the Artemis. I would surmise that this may be down to the darker hull colour of the Minerva and Janus classes, rather than a definitive example of non occurrence, however. Outside of the large black bands on the Jupiter Mk II and Adamant, the majority of these other instances of disappearing damage appear to be on fore and aft facing hull edges, such as with the flightpod pylons.

Unfortunately, unlike the officer portrait bug that continues to persist, these graphical glitches are impacting my enjoyment of the game, and the replays we all enjoy watching so much.

I'd appreciate a response, just to ensure the issue has been logged for investigation.

Hi Scott,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, we're investigating it now. Just want to confirm a couple of things;
1. Does the bug occur only during the post-battle replay, or during the battle as well (ie. during planning phase or simulation phase)?
2. Are you playing the latest version of the game (1.3.86)?

Hi Chris,

I am indeed playing the latest version available on the PS4, 1.3.86 (9154) and I'm afraid the issue is persistent throughout the entire battle, from setting it up, watching the fleet movements play out, and watching the replays at the end.
