The problem is such that I didn't receive email notification of the new turns for the just finished second round and I checked the lobby when about 40min left that the turns were still in the opponent's tray. But it shows that it's me timed out. I don't know whether it is my email problem that he replied in last minutes(if he replied in last minutes, I shall receive the notification) or there's a bug that I saw the turns in his tray while they are actually not.
PS, I received the new round starting notification email.

Re: Ongoing tournament and confusion
Even more confused.
I watched the replays. It seems that my opponent didn't make any more move before time-out. The replays just showed MY last movement. And the replay score showing is 40-51 that I am on the 51 side, which is on the lead. The other one is 47-46 that I am on 46 side.
However, the tournament result showing on the official website is 56-44 and 53-47, which I am on the losing side for both(44 47). And it's strange that neither score is close to my replay score.

Re: Ongoing tournament and confusion
For a timed out game, the recorded score won’t include anything that changed in the automated melee, pursuit, rally phase that occurred at the end of the replay. For interim scoring of unfinished games it can only record the score at the end of the last turn uploaded, which is the score at the end of the turn player’s turn, before any automated stuff.
The timed out player is not the one who had the game in his in tray at the time limit, it is the one who had the game in his in tray for the greater overall time over the course of the whole game.

Okay, this can explain that it is me who is timed out. But why the scores different that much. The side didn't make move should not have more score, should it?rbodleyscott wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2019 6:05 am For a timed out game, the recorded score won’t include anything that changed in the automated melee, pursuit, rally phase that occurred at the end of the replay. If I played too few turns, he should get more like 75 pts instead of something like 56, 53.

Re: Ongoing tournament and confusion
There are several reasons why it might, due to some of its routers rallying, or enemy units routing as a result of automatically resolved melees. All these happen at the end of the replay, not during the previous player’s turn, so they cannot be taken into account in the score sent to the server at the end of the other player’s turn - because they haven’t happened yet. But because the tournament has timed out, they don’t happen at all, until you watch the replay, which happens after the tournament has ended and after the tournament scores have been finalised.melm wrote: ↑Sat Sep 28, 2019 7:03 amOkay, this can explain that it is me who is timed out. Only if you played less than 12 turns each.If I played too few turns, he should get more like 75 pts instead of something like 56, 53.

Re: Ongoing tournament and confusion
I doubt. As in one of the replays, I fragmented some of enemy's units but none of my units is disrupted. If there is any counting after the replay I watched, I doubt how the opponent managed to route any of my units through automatic phase.
