Losing provinces without war

Post by szaharici »

Hi guys,

I was playing as the Lysimachids and seemingly out of nowhere I received a message that Macedonia had just conquered my capital Nestus. I was not at war with Macedonia, however I saw in the message log that "Nestus owned by the crumbling Lysimachids has joined the expanding Macedonia". Was this triggered by my decadence ? Is there any way to prevent this from happening as a decadent kingdom ?

Thanks,

Not really that I know of. That's the danger of becoming decadent as a Diadochi. Lysimachus seems to have it worst because of the proportionally large border they start with. Egypt seems safer because their land borders are initially limited so there are fewer regions in danger of flipping.
