Control scheme and ability cool down.

Post by Dragoon. »

Can we have the option to select and commence action with the left button and the right button for abort/deselect? Seems I played lately so many games following this input scheme that I keep making errors.

Something different, have you tested using a 2 turn cool down for the Scout and Tracking ability? I think the game would play better with 2 rather 3 turns CD considering that only a few units have this ability anyway. In case of the tracker and wolves hounds they are limited in their survive ability and too slow which cost usally additional turns in moving, positioning and healing further reducing their usefulness in scouting and tracking. I find often I think its too little, too late and at the wrong place. To have a real reconnaissance without save scumming or know before had what is coming I would have double the amount of trackers and delay my army movement to give trackers the time to heal and recover CD. I would even replace the scouting ability from the Stag lancers and replace it with tracking. The scounting ability is usless anyway when you can summon crows and trackers/ wolves would still a role when scouting in difficult terrain
I wish there were eagle scouts that I could summon that had the tracking ability too. Trading precious mana for recon seems worth to me if I don't wanna cheat.
