Are Warriors just Unmaneuverable Medium Foot

Post by Schweetness101 »

I see in the manual that warriors are included under the 12.4.2. Unmanoeuvrable Units list along undrilled heavy foot et al.

Is that the only difference between the warrior designation and the medium foot designation? They seem to get disordered by terrain in the same way otherwise. Are they undrilled medium foot basically?

Of course, typically warrior units will have other properties distinguishing them from medium foot, like differences in armor, weapon capabilities, and quality, but I mean that if you compared two units that were otherwise identical, but one was 'Medium Foot' and the other was 'Warriors', would the only difference be the loss of the free 45 degree turn from being Unmanoeuvrable?

thanks

Yes, that is the other difference.
